Bladder Control Problems

Women are twice as likely to experience Bladder Control Problems. Pregnancy, childbirth, and menopause are factors that can contribute to the strength of pelvic muscle strength and damage nerves that control the bladder.

Also known as a fallen bladder, is caused by ligaments holding the bladder up and the muscle between the vagina and bladder weakening or stretching. This failure allows the bladder to sag into the vagina.

Painful urination (dysuria) is a symptom of a number of conditions. It is common in postmenopausal women as a symptom of Atrophic Vaginitis. Some STDs and UTIs may cause painful urination.

A condition which causes the signals from the bladder to the brain to get mixed up, causing the urge to urinate more often and in smaller volumes as well as bladder pain and discomfort. The pain can range from mild discomfort to severe pain.

40 percent of women in the USA live with Overactive Bladder Symptoms. Most commonly, people will have the uncontrolled need or urge to pass urine. This condition is can be treated by medication, surgery, and Bladder Botox.

Pelvic pain can be caused by a number of conditions, including psychological issues such as trauma. While the condition causing pelvic pain may be difficult to diagnose, there are many treatments available to combat the pain.

Prolapse

Refers to the drooping or descending of pelvic floor organs such as the Uterus, Bladder, and Vagina. This is caused by a weakening or loosing of the muscles and tissues supporting the pelvic organs. Women past the age of menopause are more likely to experience a prolapse.

Prolapse

A herniation of the front wall of the rectum into the back wall of the vagina. Small rectoceles often have no symptoms while large ones may have rectal symptoms such as difficult evacuations with bowel movements.
