Amir Z Beshai, MD
Dr. Beshai was born in Assiut, Egypt, and his family immigrated to the United States when he was 10 years of age. He grew up in Los Angeles, California and attended UCLA where he graduated Summa Cum Laude, was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society and received Highest Honors in Biochemistry.

After completing medical school at UCLA he went on to do his internship in surgery at Duke University. He completed his second year in surgery at Kaiser Permanente in Los Angeles and received his urology training back at Duke University.
He has been serving Grand Junction & the Western Slope since joining Urological Associates of Western Colorado in 1993. Dr. Beshai’s practice is one of general urology with a focus on urologic oncology. He has vast experience in open surgery and since 2006 he has performed numerous robotic surgeries for benign and malignant urologic conditions.
Dr. Beshai has served on several boards of directors in Grand Junction including St. Mary’s Foundation, Rocky Mountain Health Plans and Community Hospital. He enjoys many outdoor activities with his family including hiking, biking, skiing and horseback riding.
